Dandelion Montana Heather
DOB: May 2002, gelding
by Huntingfield Proud Tim X Ballyhehan Beauty
Monty has developed into a substantial young horse. He stands approxiamately
16 hands as a long yearling. He is extremely kind and gentle. He
loves people and follows me wherever I go. I can play a game with
him where when I run, he trots alongside. I stop, he stops. He does
not get pushy and step on me, but stays near my shoulder. He needs
no halter or lead rope to encourage him to go with you. He just
wants to. Whether he is *helping* you clean out a shed or pick up
rocks or catch another horse, he wants to be right in the middle
of it.
Monty has a ground covering stride. He is a good, straight mover.
He is extremely intelligent and quick to learn. He may be a tad
on the sensitive side; you can use your voice to correct his behavior
if he steps out of line. Monty is going to be a big guy and needs
time to grow into himself. He will be a wonderful partner for any
number of activities. He is your friend for life if you just spend
a little time scratching him behind the ears.
