Heathercombe Silver Satin RID Satin is a multiple Hornby Premium mare. She was awarded the premium three times in Great Britain before she came to our farm in August of 2000. She is also a producer of outstanding broodmares. One of her daughters, Hawklands Silver Sunset, is a Select Hornby Premium mare. Satin had been started under saddle before coming here. When she arrived, we trained her to drive, and she was simple to train. Within just a couple of weeks, we were taking pleasure drives around the neighborhood with children on board. When visitors bring children to visit, Satin is the one who we put them up on for a little bareback lead line fun. She has a huge, kind eye and is a treat to be around. Her sire, Silver Jasper, was known for passing on wonderful temperaments, and it is certainly true of Satin that she inherited this trait. Satin has had two lovely foals for us. In 2002, she had Dandelion Jazz Man by Mountain Pearl. On April 1 this year, she gave us a beautiful black filly by our stallion, Huntingfield Proud Tim.
