Poppy has a long and illustrious career as a broodmare. She has been awarded two Hornby Premiums, and her only son to date, On A High, is a RID stallion in Great Britain. She has numerous daughts achieve RID status. Her daughter, Corineen by Cork Arthur, has been very successful in the show ring in England.

Poppy has the biggest heart and the kindest nature of any horse I have ever met. Yet, she also has an air of dignity that commands respect. We put her into training to drive at the ripe, young age of twelve. She has always been a broodmare and has never been backed or driven. She learned quickly and was soon taking us for rides. She has an amazing amount of power and surprised us by being more spirited than we had previously given her credit for.

Poppy is bred to Huntingfield Proud Tim for 2003. We are very excited about this foal. It will be line bred to Atlantic Boy. We have seen a bit of stock with Atlantic Boy in their pedigree and have always felt there was something special about those horses.
