Eddie was imported in utero. He was the first foal for his dam, Calverstown Queen. He has excellent performance bloodllines with Ben Purple, Blue Peter, and Pride of Shaunlara all figuring in his pedigree. He is a very outgoing, friendly colt. When he was just born, he would drive his mother crazy by going over to see the people or running off to explore an area of the pasture he hadn't seen yet. She was very protective, and as it was her first foal, always wanted to keep him away from everything. But he would have none of it. She spent all her time running after him.

Nothing seems to faze Eddie. We have a wooden bridge that we like to take the youngsters over as a training exercise. If any of them ever hesitated, we would take Eddie first. As we knew he would always go over and act as if it were no big deal. Eddie is very correct, athletic and bold. He has good movement and would be well suited to many disciplines.
